Viggo was my pick puppy out of the Arai x Sheldon 2018 breeding.  I always breed for a girl, but lost half the litter before two weeks, including all the girls.  I was beyond devastaed as most breeders would be.  I had four boys remaining and Viggo stole my heart.  He was blue boy in that litter.

He really exemplifies the breed.  Level topline, scissors bite, excellent bone.  He has beautiful expression and one of the sweetest temperaments.  Viggo floats as he moves and is one of the most active boys I’ve had the pleasure of breeding.  He did have damage to his left eye at 5 months of age.  My old grumpy man was sleeping and puppy startled him.  Jaxson bit him right in the face and he had damage to the cartiladge below.  He has since been CERF’ed as well as the new OFA CAER examinations.  All clear with no abnormalities pertaining to that area.  This is a good reason to always keep track of the older dogs with your mastiff puppies.  They get big quick and we often forget that they can be doing silly puppy things that lead to injuries.  Always keep your eyes on them.  Pun intended.
